The Count's mysterious death occurred just the night before, when his remains were discovered in the library by his wife Elenore (the Countess) around 1AM.
He had been reduced to a puddle of blood, smoking ash and sinew.
Recently the Count's safe had been opened and its contents stole.

You will be traveling to the past in order to unravel an undocumented murder aboard the Titanic. If the murder is solved, you may alter history and save the lives of many.
The Murder Shortly after 11:30 PM Captain Smith's First Officer, Bill Murphy, was found dead in his cabin with a rope tied tightly around his neck. He lay face down on the carpet. His tea service was smashed and in disarray on the floor.
The body was discovered by Mr. Ismay. A Titanic medical examiner explained that the death was possibly due to a special 'hog-tie' that caused asphyxiation. this is an unusual knot, not known by many.
